|Description||MUSTANG SW51 ENTIRELY OF CARBON This light aircraft is an absolute true-to-original replica of the legendary P-51 Mustang. There are thousands of details like the rivets, screws, metal sheet
joints, and surface details of the original P-51on the new SW51. The SW51 will be produced in a complex but extremely strong carbon-honeycomb construction that will assure lightweight construction
with maximum strength.
The entire aircraft as well as nearly all the technical parts are uncompromisingly manufactured in a patented ScaleWings carbon technology. This guarantees the most modern standard, maximum strength combined with minimum weight and a very long lifespan.
The SW51 has already completed the most important stress test. The results are very impressive. Begin of delivery the first aircrafts ordered, is in April 2015
The SW51 Mustang is designed for a maximum speed Vne of 370 km / h (Vd 411 km/h), which was made possible with extensive work in the static design and aerodynamics of the aircraft. In addition, the UL Mustang is designed for aerobatics and has a maximum g-load of +8 to -4 g at 600 kg take-off weight.
The SW51 Mustang will be certified as an Ultralight Aircraft with 472.5 kg as well as Experimental Aircraft 600 kg. For the American market, the SW51 is replaced by the US-LSA approval.
|Airplane time state||The standard engine the Rotax 912 ULS engine and 912 iS 100 HP are with these drives speeds of about 280 km / h can be achieved. By default, the 914UL is also provided with 115 hp.

For the SW51 Mustang, a special electro-hydraulic main and tail - retractable landing gear was designed. This immense emphasis was placed on ease, but also on stability and reliability. The UL Mustang is equipped as standard with this retractable landing gear

|Remarks||MOBILE HANGAR and TRAILER
For the Mustang a special design trailer has been developed which the Mustang with all parts as well as gasoline can be transported. This trailer is partly to transport the SW51, but with the added benefit of taking your SW51 with you on holiday. In addition, there is the possibility to hanger the SW51 Mustang in the trailer, thus saving the cost of a hangar space.This trailer or hangar is to be paid additionally if required by the client.
TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS FOR SEA CONTAINERS
The SW51 has been developed for the worldwide marked. So ScaleWings has developed a custom built jig that can securely and safely transport the SW51 Mustang inside a sea going container to any destination in the world.
